In Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, Jardin d’Eden (Garden of Eden) is certainly worth a visit. With its English design, the tropical and ethnobotanical landscape garden offers a guided walk in a park covering 2.5 hectares.

At the end of the day, a short sunset excursion aboard the Grand Bleu boat is ideal! Enjoy dinner and the rest of the night at the Iloha Seaview*** hotel in Saint-Leu.

On the third day, discover the “lontan” Saint-Leu with the “Leu Nature and Heritage Package” trail.

The tour will include the Jardin Botanique de La Réunion and you will appreciate the diversity and fragility of the flora of Reunion, unique in the world. You will also see a world-class collection of coffee plantations, tropical fruits, palm trees, a wide variety of cacti, mixed ferns and orchids, and many other discoveries waiting to be made...

After lunch, enjoy a pleasant stop at the Kélonia sea turtle observatory to admire these animals and learn about their adaptation to certain coasts of the island, where they go to reproduce.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your Iloha Seaview*** hotel.

On the fourth day, leave for Entre-Deux in the south, and visit the jardin de l’Entre-Deux Songes, an authentic creole garden where you can taste the local produce.

A small tip for lunch... Go to L’arbre à Palabres or the restaurant Le Longanis. Still in the south, continue your coffee experience the next day by visiting the Domaine du Café Grillé in Pierrefonds. The visit will begin with the discovery of exotic plants that will enchant you with their colours and scents. You may also taste various coffees from all over the world.
Enjoy lunch at the Saint-Pierre harbour, then visit the Bourbon Pointu coffee plantations at Fleur de K’fé in Trois Mares, followed by a tasting including a few coffee-flavoured treats. From there, you can admire the magnificent ocean view !

In Montvert-les-Hauts, the bed and breakfast La Cour Montvert will await you for dinner and a restful night. The peace and quiet of these exotic small houses and an authentic creole experience will do you a world of good.

It is also a "table d’hôte", an organic fruit farm and a workshop for manufacturing regional products.

The sixth day includes Grande Coude and a visit of the Maison du Laurina. Enjoy a tasting of Bourbon Pointu coffee and related products, together with stories about the unique history of Bourbon coffee.

The owners of the premises will offer you a picnic in the garden on the farm !

Return to your room at the bed and breakfast Eucalyptus, and visit the tea plantation Labyrinthe en Champ Thé in the afternoon to learn all about these plants.

The warm welcome at Eucalyptus will ensure you enjoy a relaxing, calm and scented experience over dinner and through the night. The local cuisine is enhanced with products from the farm and showcases “lontan” fruit and vegetables and Bourbon Pointu-based specialities. In season, you can even see how they cook geraniums.

A new morning begins…

Discover the south coast and go to the Jardin des Parfums et des Epices, which boasts more than 1,500 species of plants for fragrances, spices, cabinetwork, ornaments, medicine and more. If you wish, enjoy lunch at the Marmite du Pêcheur in Saint-Philippe... Then take the time to enjoy a quiet walk along the wild coast of the Great South in complete freedom.

Sainte-Rose. Go to the bed & breakfast la Cana Suc for the night. Do you need ideas on where to eat? The hotel-restaurant La Fournaise and Le Joyau des Laves are two options.

Stay at Sainte-Rose the next morning, for a guided tour of the vanilla plantation at Vanilla Bourbon on a farm covering 4 ha of endemic forest.

Then, go to Saint-Benoît, only 15 minutes away to lunch at Vieux Domaine.
