    Situated in a cool hilltop setting, the Relais du Maïdo hotel serves traditional Creole cuisine. Friendly welcome in a warm, timber-built surroundings (heated in winter). Numerous traditional La Réunion dishes and geranium-based specialities are served on an à la carte basis: geranium coconut punch, geranium fritters, chicken in geranium sauce and sweet potato cake with geranium. Specialities: vanilla pork, Creole fricassee (smoked sausage, smoked pork, andouille sausage and aubergine bringelle), coconut and geranium punch, home-made punch, Maïdo crêpe, sweet potato cake, etc. Open every day except Monday, outside school holidays, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Relais du Maïdo also has a snack-bar open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Numerous activities are offered around the restaurant: archery, sledging and a craft village.
