Reunion Island targets France work councils at Gamexpo

During the recently-held event, representatives of the IRT and Prometour were able to meet with 29 work councils and network with another 20, including meeting representatives of medium and large companies with workforces between 50 and under 10,000 employees.
A special newsletter sent to some 49,000 Prometour contacts helped further to showcase Reunion Island’s many attractions which range from conventional beach holidays to adventure tours.
The top prize at the closing gala night again put Reunion Island into the spotlight when two return tickets by CORSAIR were combined with a week-long stay at the LUX and car hire thrown in for good measure, won by CE Aptar Stelmi.
Feedback received from IRT sources confirmed that the team was able to conduct over 60 meetings during the 3-day event, resulting in more than 20 direct quotes for groups coming to the island and more inquiries being processed.
