Aéroclub Roland Garros

Aéroclub Roland Garros was set up in 1933 and is the island’s oldest aeronautics club. It is also a flying school with 6 instructors and a fleet of 6 aircraft, including 1 stunt plane and 1 twin-engine. The club prepares candidates for the private pilot’s license (PPL) and organises first flights and introductory flights. Introductory flight: 30 minutes maximum with an instructor and including piloting simulation. First flight: loop with maximum radius of 30 km and lasting a maximum of 30 minutes, with obligatory return to departure point. Enquire at the club.
