Domaine des Caféiers

  • Le Domaine des Caféiers is a pilot farming project where you can learn about the bourbon pointu coffee.
    The coffee plantation covers a surface area of 1 hectare, and was planted eight years ago and grown with a constant desire to respect the environment, giving an exceptional coffee. Martine and Mongi Sliti, the only producers of certified organic coffee in the entire European community.

  • During the visit of the plantation, Martine will explain passionately the work required to grow coffee. It is an art in itself which these two producers are happy to share with you.
    From October to February, visitors may take part in the picking of these small red fruits called cherries, and discover the non-industrial process used at the domain, from the \'pulping\' to the \'roasting\'. And let\'s not forget the tasting of this \'Grand cru\'.
