Kan dé Marrons

Kan dé Marrons

Park, garden in Guillaume (le), Saint-Paul
  • Between Le Bernica and Le Guillaume, in the cool hills of the west, the garden at kan de Marrons has an endless variety of fruits and vegetables from yesteryear, somewhat forgotten by the Reunionese.

  • Run by the CISCB Charity (Centre d’Insertion Sportive et Culturelle du Bernica), the garden of Kan de Marrons with a thousand different flavours aims to save and protect the heritage of Reunionese territory by displaying the garden to the younger generation. Meet the garden\'s creator, Jean-Paul Bavol, a former séga musician and passionate about his land.
