Temple Maha Badra Karly

  • The Shri Maha Badra Karly Tamil temple in La Ravine Blanche in Saint-Pierre is one of the island’s most beautiful temples.

  • The temple was originally built as a straw hut in the 1950s, was renovated for the first time in 1970 and then second more significant renovation work was done in 1990.
    The temple is devoted to goddess Karly who represents feminine energy. Goddess Karly is worshipped by the majority of Reunion Island locals.
