Piton Fougère

The “Auberge de Campagne”-labelled Piton Fougères inn serves traditional Creole cuisine cooked over a wood fire and prepared from farm produce and fresh ingredients, to be enjoyed in a ""gadiamb” family atmosphere in the cool of the heights of Sainte-Marie, on the edge of La Réunion National Park. The owners have a warm welcome reserved for their guests, and the inn can host banquets, festivities and celebrations seating up to 250 guests upon reservation, including weddings, baptisms and birthdays. Musical ambience provided, with DJ, dance floor or other entertainment up to 3 oclock in the morning, with the innkeeper taking charge of decorating the room upon request. A car park area with almost 70 spaces is at guests disposal. Most appreciated among the Chefs specialities are his goose stew and rooster with arrowroot. Set menus for receptions from €28/person to €35/person. B&B accommodation available on site.
