  • In the village of Le Brûlé, up in the hills of Saint-Denis, La Vallée Heureuse is an old Creole garden. The owner of the site invites you to discover the lush mossy footpaths lined with camellias, teas, azaleas, hydrangeas, some remarkable trees, various species of bamboo and some rare fruit trees.
Discover the remains of a mid-altitude primary forest and the reforestation efforts of endemic species.
Halfway along, tea is offered to visitors. Plants and home-made objects are on sale at the end of the visit.
Regular visits are possible every 2nd Sunday of the month, with one visit in the morning at 9am and the other in the afternoon at 2pm, by reservation only. For visits on other days, with a minimum of 5 adults, please contact us. School holidays.
