Domaine de la Pointe des Châteaux - La Maison du Coco

There, visitors will discover all the secrets of the 'Tree of Life' (the coconut palm) through a participatory workshop in three stages:
- Origin and uses of coconuts in Réunion: Learn more about this palm tree and the many uses of its fruit, the coconut.
- Culinary transformations: Pick the coconut, learn how to clean it, grate the nut while seated on traditional stools and you'll ready to make coconut macaroons and punch.
- Introduction to palm weaving: Learn the basics of this ancient weaving technique.
- You'll enjoy fresh coconuts, water, virgin oil, molasses, coconut sugar and our homemade sorbet.
Last but not least, the Maison du Coco also offers an all-coconut lunch! You won't be able to resist.

The estate is open seven days a week from 09:30 to 16:30, continuously.
