In the heart of the island's Heights, a stop-off in discovery of La Réunion arts and crafts. An integral part of the Creole architectural heritage, Domaine des Tourelles was built in the early 20th century by a wealthy landowner from Saint-Benoît. Today, this fine Creole house in Plaine des Palmistes serves as a site for promotion of the islands arts and crafts.

On this island of the Archipel des Métiers d’Art are artisan workshops, a craft shop and a restaurant area. Sculptor workshops, ceramists, craft brewery, "Des hommes,
des hauts, des plantes" heritage circuit available in audioguide (French, English, German). Free admission and tour. Open: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 6 pm (5.30 pm from June to August), Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
