Horse riding in La Plaine Des Cafres, Le Tampon

  • Les Ecuries du Volcan is an equestrian tourism centre in La Plaine des Cafres at an altitude of 1,600 m providing pony rides, horse rides, short rides for very young children, themed rides, rides for a day or longer (e.g. Volcano hike), rides through the village, through the forest in a horse-drawn carriage, luxury services for special events (horse-drawn carriage for weddings), family services upon request, lessons.

  • Activities suitable for beginners and the trails are adapted to the horses. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. Groups, companies and associations are welcome. Supervision: BPJEPS, ATE certified instructors. Languages spoken: Mauritian and Malagasy.
    Open 7 days a week, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
