Hiking gîte in Cilaos

  • The Gîte du Pavillon is situated midway between the town of Saint-Louis and the village of Cilaos, at 400 m above sea-level. It is located at the 19th kilometre of the winding ""road with the 400 bends"" at the locality of Pavillon.

  • The Gîte du Pavillon consists of three 2-bedroomed dormitories, one 3-bedroomed dormitory, one 4-bedroomed dormitory and one double bedroom. Private, unfenced car park. The gite\'s restaurant, capable of seating 40 people, serves traditional Creole cuisine. Specialities: smoked pork with banana flower and shellfish. Open upon reservation only: dinner costs €18 and breakfast €6 per adult. This gite belongs to the Mountain Gite Managers Association network (AGGM). Pets not allowed.
