Moulin Maïs

Handicrafts in Saint-Louis
  • Moulin à Maïs between Saint-Louis and La Rivière was built in the 19th century at a time when cobs with small yellow kernels held an important place in local agriculture.
The corn mill is still an important place in terms of history, tradition and authenticity.

  • More than 20 years after it closed, the Moulin à Maïs has reopened and the building has been completely refurbished.
Moulin à Maïs is now a cultural space. It plays host to exhibitions, concerts and all types of cultural events.
