  • The green plateau of Plaine des Palmistes lies just 20 minutes from the coast, an area of waterfalls, lakes, pastureland and pitons, where endemic plant species flourish in abundance. In season, it is also the capital of that mildly acid little red fruit, the guava. Open from Monday to wednesday and from friday to saturday from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m and from 1.30 p.m to 5.00 p.m. Closed on Thursdays.
