Some people say that the sunrise at Grand Bénare is just as beautiful, if not more so, than at Piton des Neiges (and it's easier which is a bonus). Judge for yourself and let us know what you think!
Make sure you've got your headlamp and some warm clothing and set off to climb the third highest peak on the island (2,898m above sea level). You'll be met by a 360-degree view of Reunion Island.

After all that effort you'll be ready for lunch, which will be served at the Maïdo when you get back.

Meet at: 1.45 am in the morning in the night from Saturday to Sunday at the first date and in the night from Wednesday to Thursday for the second date.
Parking Maïdo viewpoint.
Walk starts at: 2am in the morning
Price includes: the one-day hike led by a mountain guide, a light breakfast at the Grand Bénare summit and lunch.
