Chinese Tourist travelling to Reunion Island

Choose one of these three options to benefit from professional advice, and thus enjoy a top-quality holiday on our island, as well as the handling of administrative formalities regarding the visa waiver.

Online reservations such as booking.com, Airbnb….won’t be accepted..

Despite the visa exemption procedure, the Border Police (PAF) has the right to refuse your entry into the territory.

You must submit your request to the relevant services (IRT – Partner agencies) at least 10 days before your arrival. No request can be processed after this deadline.

View the list of agencies registered as ATOUT France tour and holiday operators with a licence to proceed with these formalities.

For your information, the Reunion Island Tourism Board Information and Booking Platform itself has a licence and can therefore organise your stay if you contact one of our advisers at explorelareunion.com (also available in English ). The range of offers available can be viewed online and in English on explorelareunion.com.

Notes

→ Should your stay exceed 15 days, you will need to apply for a visa at the French consulate or embassy.

→ You may also go on a 24hr visa run to Mauritius then come back to Reunion Island, provided you organise your second stay via one of the three options detailed above.

→ The maximum duration of authorised stay on Reunion Island is 90 days per 6 month period for up to 15 days at a time.

→ Given that Reunion Island is not part of the Schengen Area, visas for mainland France are not valid. Consult a French embassy or consulate.
