Simplified visa process for Indian passport holders

Indian nationals no longer need a visa for stays of up to 15 days. To organise their stay, they have two options:

They can contact a travel agency in India offering Reunion Island as a destination to buy a package tour (flight + accommodation). This agency will then contact an incoming agency on Reunion Island with a licence to request visa waivers.
Or they can apply to an incoming agency on Reunion Island

These two steps will ensure that you have a wonderful stay on our island, thanks to professional guidance and assistance with the administrative procedures required for visa exemption.

Online reservations (such as Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) will not be accepted.

Despite the visa exemption procedure, the PAF (Border Police) reserves the right to deny you entry into the country.

You must submit your application to partner agencies at least 10 days before your arrival. No applications will be processed after this deadline.

We invite you to consult the list of agencies accredited and registered with the ATOUT France Registry of Travel and Vacation Operators (ROVS) that can handle this process here.

Notes

→ Should your stay exceed 15 days, you will need to apply for a visa at the French consulate or embassy.

→ You may also go on a 24hr visa run to Mauritius then come back to Reunion Island, provided you organise your second stay via one of the three options detailed above.

→ The maximum duration of authorised stay on Reunion Island is 90 days per 6 month period for up to 15 days at a time.

→ Given that Reunion Island is not part of the Schengen Area, visas for mainland France are not valid. Consult a French embassy or consulate.
