  • Salazie is the largest and greenest of the three cirques with waterfall after waterfall! The village of Hell-Bourg, with its pretty Creole houses and flower-filled gardens, is perched high up on one of the cirque's many "îlets" or small plateaus.
Salazie Inter-Communal Tourist Office, located in the small art and crafts square (place artisanale) in Hell-Bourg - classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France" - is an information and reception centre.

Here you'll find all the information you need about outdoor activities, cultural visits as well as different types of accommodation (Gîtes de de France approved gîtes and guest houses, Clévacances approved holiday rentals, Creole hotels and hiking accommodation etc.)
Enthusiastic advisers are on hand to help and ensure you enjoy an unforgettable holiday in Reunion Island and its eastern region.

Mountain hikers and trail runners who want to work out and explore the interior of Reunion Island, will discover an useful aid here on the island, essential for their training. This is because Salazie has the only trail running station in the Indian Ocean.
There are a range of amenities available for the trail runner -- both beginners and experienced -- in the Tourist Office (information panels, training room with bikes and showers).

Salazie Inter-Communal Tourist Office also provides information about Reunion National Park.

    Open Monday to Saturday, 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, and Sunday 8am - 12pm.
