  • The bridge, which is 152 metres long, was built in the 19th century and was the world’s longest suspended bridge when completed in 1894. Today the bridge is no longer used for vehicles and is also closed to pedestrians, who can enjoy a commanding view over the gully of Rivière de l'Est.
