Atelier Liquoristerie Rivière

Liquoristerie Rivière in the Domaine des Tourelles (Archipel des Métiers d'Art) manufactures products that form an integral part of La Réunion tradition. The art practised here requires genuine know-how in the processing of natural raw materials for the pleasure of the taste buds. The site contains two production workshops: the “Fougères” workshop is given over to industrial production of spirits and non-alcoholic drinks, while the “Tamarins” workshop is made up of an exhibition and tasting room and a theme-based artisanal laboratory for demonstration of expertise and of the processes employed for manufacture of spirits and products of the local terroir (chocolate, lollipops, vanilla, jam, etc.) marketed under the “Sentaromes” brand. Discovery of non-alcoholic drinks (traditionally-made lemonades, fruit nectars, syrups and alcohol-free fizzy drinks) and also, of course, of liqueurs, punches and rums arrangés elaborated from La Réunion fruits, spices and plants. Tasting and sale of products on site. Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pets not allowed. Cameras not authorised.
