  • The RIVIÈRE DU MÂT Distillery was founded in 1886 and is one of Reunion Island’s oldest distilleries still in operation today.

  • To carry on this age-old tradition, the Master Distiller uses ancestral expertise ensuring high standards and accuracy at all times, to make sure that the RIVIÈRE DU MÂT rums keep their great reputation throughout the centuries.
    In Saint-Benoît, the ‘La Cave à Rhums’ shop has a wide range of rum from local sugar cane plantations, revealing the wonders of the terroir of Reunion Island.
    Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6:30pm.
