  • A day in the boots of a farming family!
    Lé Yabar is a family affair! Julie, her family and her partner provide visitors with a chance to spend a day in the boots of farmers on their family-run farm on Reunion Island.

  • After a traditional Reunionese breakfast with ‘riz chofé’ (heated rice), bread and homemade jam, participants will be able to explore the farm, the organic farming practices and the benefits of the aromatic and medicinal plants, some of which are used in Creole cuisine. Then there will be an introduction to the different farming tasks. This is an opportunity to collect the vegetables that will be used to make lunch.
    Budding farmers will then be invited to help finish making lunch, which...
