Guided wide-eyed tour of "Bourg Murat cultural crossroads and hikes".
A totally different tour of Bourg Murat, one of the best places for hiking and a special picnic spot for islanders and an essential stop on the way to the volcano, Piton de la Fournaise, without ever feeling that you are anywhere near the town. Listed as a "Creole Village“ Bourg Murat has a fresh country feel among the green pastures full of cows. You will be blown away by the architectural and cultural gems which speak of the history and the evolution of our island not forgetting the impact left by colonialism. As we walk, we will also discover a wide variety of flowers in this rural setting and cattle under the tamarind trees. An opportunity to remind yourself of our indigenous species.

Meet at the Tourist Office in the village of Bourg Murat from 9.00am onwards.
Welcome with coffee and Creole delicacies.
