in Saint-Joseph
-
In Saint-Joseph, Princesse Reine has a shop selling homemade jams, jellies and syrups, made from seasonal “lontan fruits” grown at an organic farm.
-
Just like her ancestors, Reine works the land at her 8,000-m² farm in La Plaine des Grègues, the turmeric capital, where besides turmeric she grows arrowroot, bananas, tangors, sweet potatoes, Victoria pineapples, hibiscuses and lemons.
Keen to comply with organic methods, she offers her rare and unique produce for all to enjoy (poc-poc, yacón).
