During the sugar harvesting campaign, the Sucrerie du Gol sugar factory offers guided tours and an opportunity to discover the secrets of sugar production. Unique and exciting visits are run from July to December, explaining every stage involved in the transformation of cane into sugar. Audio guides are available to offer visits of better quality . -
A visual, olfactory and taste journey leads visitors to the heart of the sugar manufacturing process: receiving the canes, grinding, evaporation, crystallisation, up to the sugar crystals!
Tours from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm depending on the day, during the sugar campaign. Night tours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Product tasting and sale at the Kaz à Sucre.

For safety reasons, the Gol sugar factory is open to visitors aged 12 and over. Tours are not recommended for visitors suffering from asthma, experiencing mobility difficulties, suffering from heat or prone to severe vertigo, as well as pregnant women (> 6 months).
Preferential rates: groups, schools, associations: contact the sugar factory directly.
Trousers and trainers are mandatory. Tour duration: 1h30.
During the sugar campaign, from July to December, booking mandatory.
