Saint-Pierre
Surrounded by the cliffs of Saint-Pierre, there are seven treetop climbing trails, ranging from a basic one for children, to a very sporty version. Acroroc is the biggest treetop climbing centre on Reunion Island and in the Indian Ocean. It is near Saint-Pierre town centre and the coast. The trails overlook the river Abord and are surprisingly not in the trees, but in the rocks. There are some big zip wires that will take you over the waterfalls and ravines.

Cilaos
Come and explore the Cirque of Cilaos, from up in the tamarinds and cryptomerias, at the Cilaosa Parc Aventure. This treetop climbing centre is only 5 minutes away from the town centre, with seven trails, including fifteen giant zip wires. Each trail corresponds to a specific level, ranging from the ‘oustiti’ level for children between 3 and 6, orange and brown levels for beginners and children, up to the red trail for the most daring climbers. Facing the cliffs and in the middle of an exceptional natural environment, the centre is perfect for exploring the Cirque of Cilaos and at the same time discovering a unique activity with family or friends.

Makes Adventure

Plaine des palmistes
Between the Piton de la Fournaise and the Piton des Neiges Massif, the Plaine des Palmistes is a lush green oasis. In the middle of the trees here, you’ll find Acroplaine. There are six trails with four different levels of difficulty. The trails in the treetops are great for sporty participants to explore the forest from way up high. There’s a snack bar that serves sandwiches and ‘caris’ upon reservation. You deserve a treat after all that climbing through the trees.
