The “Diagonale des fous” was elected in 2019, the most legendary ultra trail in the world by L’Equipe magazine.
Four running are proposed as part of the Grand Raid: The Diagonale des fous, the Trail of Bourbon, the Mascareignes and the Zembrocal Trail (Relay 4). They will take place from October 17 to 20, 2019.

The Grand Raid inspire creators
The “Diagonale des fous” a comic book of the Grand Raid of Reunion.
Comics book are available since Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in bookstores and other points of sale on the island (airport, tourist office, FNAC …). It was written by Fabrice Cifré, ultra-trailer in love with Reunion Island who participated three times in the Grand Raid.
The BD tells the story of four characters who try at all costs to finish the mythical race that is the “Diagonale des fous”.
