Musée Dan' Tan Lontan

Museum at Saint-André

  • Dan'Tan Lontan Museum in Saint-André is nothing less than an "Ali Baba" cave's, conserving a collection of objects from bygone days ("tan lontan" in Creole).

A collector to the core, the owner exhibits a wealth of treasures amassed over a lifetime: radios of the day, smoothing irons, artefacts over two hundred years old, all bearing witness to the ways everyday life has changed over the centuries in La Réunion and elsewhere.
Pre booking for guided tour compulsory from 3 to 20 people maximum. The tour lasts 2h30.
